Music born out of necessity. Video Cult is the debut solo endeavor from producer & multi-instrumentalist Christopher Schackerman. Weaving influence from classic EBM, darkwave and synthpop, the first single “searching/different from the days” is an amalgam of homespun production, nostalgia evoking synth layers and punching rhythms. Produced, engineered, and mixed in Schackerman’s home studio.
